Max Cohen partners with higher education institutions, mission-driven nonprofits, and purpose-led brands to plan, produce, and measure communications that move real audiences. His practice spans four connected disciplines — content and brand strategy, social media management, photo and video production, and editorial writing — so a single creative thread can run from a campaign's strategic premise all the way to a finished video, photo essay, or post.
On the strategy side, that means translating leadership priorities into an integrated editorial calendar, defining brand voice and visual standards, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders around measurable goals. On the social side, it means cross-platform content planning across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube — blending paid and organic tactics to grow communities and sustain engagement over time. Max has grown the NC State College of Design's combined social audience more than two-fold since 2020, including seven-fold growth on LinkedIn, and he brings that same playbook to every engagement.
Production work covers commercial photography, videography, and drone operation from concept and stakeholder interviews through editing and distribution — built in Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and the full Adobe Creative Suite. Editorial work includes long-form writing, copywriting, and regular contributions to Designlife Magazine. The result is communications infrastructure that lets a small team punch above its size: clear workflows, mentorship for student creators, and campaigns that report out in dollars raised, followers gained, and impressions earned.
